Abstract
The
new solid wood building systems offer new possibilities in terms of form and
language, allowing the use of different materials and a special focus on energy
consumption and eco-sustainability. This book is based on the experiences
developed within the CasaClima Master’s course at the Free University of
Bozen-Bolzano. It is also a design and construction “handbook” for
both timber frame and X-lam building systems.
