Ulrike Unterthurner, eine sehr nette und rührige Bibliothekarin (mit Südtiroler
Wurzeln) aus Dornbirn, hat mich gebeten, die untenstehende Mail weiterzuleiten.
Frau
Unterthurner hat bereits selbst einige ähnliche EU-finanzierte Projekte
durchgeführt und damit äußerst positive Erfahrungen gemacht. (Der Einreichtermin
für das beschriebene Projekt ist der 15.02.2010; sollte es angenommen werden,
würde es im Herbst 2010 beginnen.)
Vielleicht
ist ja jemand interessiert mitzumachen?

Partnerbibliotheken in Südtirol für eine Grundtvig-Lernpartnerschaft
Liebe Bibliothekarinnen und Bibliothekare
Stadtbibliothek und Stadtarchiv Dornbirn würden sich freuen,
im Rahmen einer Grundtvig-Lernpartnerschaft mit einer Südtiroler Bibliothek
zusammen zu arbeiten.
Der Interessens-Fokus unserer Lernpartnerschaft soll auf
"Barrierefreiheit" in all ihren Facetten liegen. Wir haben uns etwa
die Frage gestellt, warum Einrichtungen, die für "Alle" da sind,
nicht von "Allen" genutzt werden (können). Europäische PartnerInnen
dieses Projekts werden Museen, Bibliotheken und Archive sein. Eine knappe
Beschreibung der Projektidee finden Sie am Ende des Mails.
Wenn Sie Interesse an einer solchen Lernpartnerschaft haben, melden Sie
sich bitte ab 7. Jänner 2010 in der Stadtbibliothek Dornbirn. Wir freuen uns
auf Ihre Anfragen!

Open up to the public
Our intention is that our institutions like museums,
archives and libraries are open to all citizens irrespective of age, sex or race. We
are convinced that our institutions can contribute a lot to education, culture
and everybody’s way of living.
But what we intent doesn’t always become
true: In reality there are a lot of people who don’t use institutions
like museums, archives or libraries. Lots of people don’t even take
in account how to use these institutions for the own benefits.
In this project we want to gather different
institutions who visit each other to search for barriers and obstacles which
exclude an important part of the society. The different knowledge and
experience of the partners and of some experts should help to escape
routine-blindness and to find ways to open our institutions a little bit more.
Each institution should try to realize one single action, activity or event and
to document the outcome. Via the internet we could document the different
problems and the different solutions and have some very good examples for
others. At the same time the institutions and the whole staff is involved in
discussions, visits of the other participants’ institutions and in
preparing the events. From beginning to end a group of learners should be
involved in the process.
